RSVP Reader

The Problem

Reading faster is a learnable skill, but most speed-reading apps are gimmicky, gated behind bad UX, or priced like enterprise software. Consumers want a sharp, gamified tool that actually makes them faster without asking them to read like a robot.

The Approach

Built on the RSVP technique (rapid serial visual presentation) — words flash one at a time at a tunable speed, so the eye stops regressing and the brain picks up the pace. Added voice notes for capturing reactions in flow, a freemium upgrade path via StoreKit, and a matching web version so the experience follows users across devices.

The Outcome

Launching in the App Store, April 2026. Web companion deployed alongside. Built fully in SwiftUI — one developer, tight iteration loop, AI-augmented development end to end.
